What exactly will you do as a professional organizer?

As a professional organizer we will help you organize any of the physical, digital spaces and in some cases mental areas in your life — a closet, a kitchen, photos, and/or help with productivity. We will assist with making decisions, initiate actions around removal of unwanted belongings, and implement systems that will change your life, reducing stress, giving back time with your family, and saving money (yes, an organized life saves money). I once read a case study where an individual found over $100,000.00 amidst their clutter.

How do I know if I need to hire a professional organizer?

Let’s be honest, sometimes chaotic messes become frustrating, overwhelming, and just too much to tackle these spaces ourselves. When this happens it’s probably best to seek the assistance of a professional organizer.

What do I need to do before you arrive?

After the consultation we will discuss steps needed to take prior to beginning the first session.

Are pets allowed in the area where you will be organizing?

Unfortunately, no, we ask that pets be put in an area where they are not able to disturb the organizing process. One of the reasons for this is safety of the organizer but also, in some cases pets can add to the chaos that we are already trying to tackle.

Can you come to my home weekly or monthly?

When you purchase our in-home organizing service, we offer a 6 month “check-up”. This does require you sending in photos monthly of the area that was organized. If the area has been maintained and needs minimal maintenance, we will come back at no charge and touch-up your space. If you are still wanting monthly organizational services, yes, we do offer this service and can provide more details if interested once the project is completed.

What if I need help organizing my life?

When organizing your home, we take a methodical approach. If all areas of your life need organization, this is something we can provide and, in most cases, starting the first session will help everything else fall in place. You will be surprised at how organizing one area of your home will provide such a huge relief. It truly reduces stress and provides such a peace of mind.

Do you provide systems for organizing so I can just do the work myself? If so, what is the cost?

Yes! If you are the type of person that struggles with creating a vision for your space, we are happy to provide the blueprint on creating a system that works best for your space. We will do a video consult providing up to 2 hours at a flat rate of $200.00.

I am embarrassed for anyone to see the inside of my home. It is so overwhelming and just complete chaos. Is my space and what you see safe/confidential?

Absolutely! Trust me I totally understand having a fear of someone seeing your space and judging you, however as a professional organizer I’ve seen it all!! I am here to help guide you, leave you with confidence and pride so that you can welcome anyone into your home.

Will you get rid of my items that I want to discard?

I will provide you with resources of where to donate or discard and I can load your car for you; however it is best to take the items off yourself. This is something we can discuss during our consultation call.

I don’t even want to look at my items that need to be discarded. Can you just discard and organize my clutter for me?

Part of the process of transforming your life into an organized one is doing the work. While I will not do the work for you, I will be right by your side walking you through the process step by step so that you are able to stay organized!

I don’t have a lot of money to pay someone. What if your services cost too much?

My passion is helping people to organize their lives. Together I am confident we can come up with a customized plan that will fit your budget.

I have over 300+ hours as a Professional Organizer and I am a Certified Kon Marie Method ® Consultant
